Songs from childhood have the special power to evoke memories of carefree times. With the CD „Kein schöner Land...“, the Grenzlandchor Arnoldstein consciously dedicates itself to these beautiful, old and well-known folk songs and gives them new space in our fast-moving times.

The result is an atmospheric recording that allows the familiar to be experienced anew and at the same time offers musical quality at the highest level.

The choir is accompanied by harpist Eveline Schuler and the Carinthian saxophone ensemble Sax Royal. Together they have created a varied CD with old and new folk songs from Austria, Germany and South Tyrol. The programme is complemented by new compositions by choirmaster Hedi Preissegger and choir founder Prof. Gretl Komposch - in the unmistakable sound of the Grenzlandchor.
