1 part medium grain rice requires approx. 1.5 parts water.
Medium grain rice is the universal rice. It is used as a side dish rice and for all rice dishes. The better the rice is washed before steaming, the less sticky it will be.
However, medium grain rice is the typical rice for risotto. For risotto dishes, however, 1 part rice and 3 to 4 parts liquid are used.
