Bernd Martinschitz, born in Villach in 1972, completed a commercial apprenticeship. It was during this time that his interest in writing began to grow.
When conventional medicine was unable to help him during a severe professional burnout and simultaneous overtraining in marathon running, he began to educate himself in many areas of complementary medicine and to further develop his sensitive abilities, which he had been aware of since childhood. In the end, he trained in many areas of massage and bodywork, completed a three-year course to become a shiatsu practitioner and a two-year course to become a geomantic counsellor.
He has been working independently for many years in the fields of shiatsu, geomancy, yoga and meditation and runs a bookshop in Arnoldstein in Carinthia. His main focus is on the vital essences of the earth and nature and the ancient healing knowledge of our cultures, which he wants to bring out of the shadows of esotericism and make explainable and understandable for our time through descriptions.
